The elf reluctantly agrees to help the narrator and takes them to her village, where they must navigate the distrust of her people. The narrator introduces themselves as Arthur and tries to explain their identity, while the elf's sister, Lily, expresses curiosity about humans. The story explores themes of desire, guilt, and survival in a fantastical setting.
